Training Band
When students have completed a term of The Wider Opportunities Club they will be able to move forward to the Training Band to continue developing their musical skills. The Training Band will be available until students are ready for the Concert Band. Adults are also welcome at this group. At any time students can enhance their learning with tuition through their school's system or privately with Steve.
The group will run on Thursdays, weekly (10 per term, see calendar), from 4.30pm until 5.30pm. The cost of these sessions will be £25 per term, payable in advance. There are discounts available for siblings. Instruments are not provided for this but are available to hire for a monthly fee from £7.50 (subject to availability). Advice can also be given on purchasing instruments.
We are always open to new players. So just come along and give us a go!

Concert Band
The Concert Band is available to all musicians, both adults and children (from the age of 8) of grade 2 standard and above. It aims to support its members to further their musical knowledge, improve their technical and reading abilities and to develop fundamental ensemble skills; all of which will facilitate smooth transitions into other ensembles such as The Exmouth Town Concert Band www.exmouthtownconcertband.org.uk and various County Ensembles such as The Devon Youth Wind Orchestra www.dywo.co.uk

We continue to offer many performance opportunities including End of Term Concerts, Summer and Christmas Fayres, Exmouth Festival, and performances with Exmouth Town Concert Band and many other events.
